Lucid App Studios ("we," "our," or "us") operates the MindStream mobile application and web app (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, first name, and password.
• User Content: We collect the thoughts, notes, tasks, events, and ideas you create within the App ("Thoughts"), including any tags, dates, or other metadata you add.
• Voice Input: If you use the voice recording feature, your speech is processed to convert it to text. Audio is not stored after processing.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, such as features used and time spent in the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Process and organize your Thoughts using artificial intelligence
• Sync your data across devices
• Send you important updates about the App
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Process subscription payments

3. AI Processing

MindStream uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to:

• Analyze and categorize your Thoughts
• Generate summaries and tags
• Parse dates and deadlines from natural language
• Answer questions about your stored Thoughts

Your Thoughts are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how Google handles this data.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service
• We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption and secure authentication
• Your Thoughts are private and can only be accessed by you when logged into your account
• We use Row Level Security to ensure users can only access their own data

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With third-party services that help us operate the App (Supabase for data storage, Google for AI processing, RevenueCat for subscription management)
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data associated with your account within the App
• Export: Export your data in JSON format via the Settings menu
• Delete: Delete individual Thoughts or clear all your data via the Settings menu
• Account Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account by contacting us

8. Data Retention

• Your Thoughts are retained until you delete them
• Archived Thoughts are automatically deleted after 30 days
• If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
